Reya fish Ltd is established in 1994, with privatizing of fish farm in Dospat.

During the years, the company successfully enlarges its activity – beginning with trout breading only, now we produce frozen, smoked and marinated fish, fish salads and equipment for food processing industry.

Reya fish Ltd is the only one enterprise in Bulgaria having a full license for export of fish and fish products in EU. The fish processing plant works using the standards of good processing practices (GMP , HACCP и IFS). Once in the year the processing plant pass over the audit made from the association of commercial chains in Germany for checking the correspondence with International food standard IFS.

Reya fish Ltd is the unique company, which proposes MAP packing in BG market. This give us the possibility to offer a number of fresh and chilled fish and fish products. The enterprise is export oriented – 80% from our production is exported to EU.

In domestic market, Reya fish Ltd is a partner of the biggest supermarket chains - Metro Cash & Carry, Billa Bulagaria, HIT Hypermarket, Fantastiko etc.

The head office of Reya fish is situated in Sofia , where is established also the commercial department in the frame of the unique fish exchange met the standards of EU.

The processing activities are performed in Dospat. The town is situated at height of 1 200 m asl. in Rodopi mountain. There is and the fish farm – the biggest one in Central and Eastern Europe , where the trout is farmed in cages.

This fact permits to use the environment and to bread the fish in completely natural way. Like a result – the fish has excellent taste, high level of fat contain, which makes it a perfect raw material for hot smoked fillets. This is one of the products, which contributes for our popularity in Western Europe .

In Dospat is situated also the processing plant of Reya fish. It is build according to the modern European standards. There are processed all kind of fish products – frozen, smoked, marinated fish, fish salads, cans, fish pate and caviar.

Reya fish Ltd has a second farm – in Razlog, where the trout is breaded from eggs to small fish up to 5-10g. The enterprise of Reya fish has a full cycle of producing – from fish eggs to the finished product.

The main export products of Reya fish at the moment are all kinds of trout products – frozen gutted trout, single fillet, butterfly fillet, boneless trout, smoked fillet as well as the salmon portions and hot smoked mackerel.

In Bulgarian market Reya fish is well known with a number of delicatessen products – smoked and marinated products, fish salads, fresh and chilled fish.

Reya fish has also a specialized structure for producing of fish and other food equipment. We produce a large spectrum of equipment – from tables of stainless steel to the high technological machines for packing, vacuum and MAP; slaughtering machines, smoking cameras, grading machines and so on.
