Honey Ginger Grilled Salmon Recipe
This Honey Ginger Grilled Salmon recipe makes 4 servings.
Ingredients
• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/3 cup soy sauce
• 1/3 cup orange juice
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 green onion, chopped
• 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
Preparation
Combine ginger, garlice, soy sauce, orange juice, honey and green onion in large plastic bag; close bag and shake to mix well. Place salmon fillets inside bag and seal. Place bag in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, turning occasionally.
Lightly grease grill rack and preheat grill to medium. Remove salmon from bag; reserve marinade. Grill 12-15 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Brush with reserved marinade up until the last 5 minutes of cooking time.
Fried Trout Fillets Recipe

Ingredients
• 6 trout fillets
• Buttermilk
• 1 cup flour
• 2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 1/2 stick butter
• Lemon wedges
Preparation
Place trout fillets in glass dish and cover with buttermilk. Allow to soak for 15 minutes. In a shallow dish, mix flour, salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Add butter and olive oil to skillet and melt over medium heat. Place each fillet, one at a time, in flour mixture, turning to coat evenly. Add coated fillets to hot oil. Brown on both sides and serve with lemon wedges.
Baked Trout
Ingredients
• 2 pound trout fillet, cut into 6 pieces
• 3 tablespoons lime juice
• 1 medium tomato, chopped
• 1/2 medium onion, chopped
• 3 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
• 1/2 teaspoon olive oil
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon red pepper
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350F. Rinse fish and pat dry. Place in baking dish. In separate dish, mix remaining ingredients, then pour over fish. Bake 15-20 minutes or until fork-tender.
Bacon-Wrapped Trout Recipe
Ingredients
• 1 cup butter, softened
• 3/4 package dry onion soup mix
• Pepper
• 3 pound trout fillet
• 1/2 pound bacon
Preparation
Combine butter, soup mix and pepper, gently mixing. Spread mixture onto fish, then wrap fish with bacon. Grill 10 minutes per side, or until trout flakes easily with fork. |
